Hanna Ahti, Anna Maria Häkkinen, Maija Mustonen

Hanna Ahti is a Helsinki-based artist. She’s wor­ked within the fields of dan­ce and per­for­man­ce inter­na­ti­o­nal­ly and in Finland sin­ce 2000. At the moment Hanna is inte­rested in making per­for­man­ces by stu­dying the poten­ti­als of fic­ti­on, wri­ting and bodi­ly osten­ta­tious­ness as cor­po­re­al and cho­re­o­grap­hic mate­ri­als. At the moment, she’s wor­king on Doom&Bloom and Scene (a text and per­for­man­ce). Anna Maria Häkkinen is a Helsinki-based artist. Her recent cho­re­o­grap­hic works inclu­de Monuments (20192022) a duet whe­re touch and monu­men­ta­li­ty are tuned in slow­mo­ti­on, Treat (2021) a con­ti­nous work together with Maija Mustonen on caring touch, DANCE (2018) a pie­ce for six dan­cers aiming to bring dan­ce back” on a per­so­nal level, and PAINI (Wrestle 2017) a col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve work that fea­tu­red a wrest­ling club of 18 volun­teers. Maija Mustonen is a Helsinki-based mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­na­ry artist who always works in dia­lo­gue, together. Her inte­rest is in slow and long las­ting soft prac­ti­ces that aim for sha­ring and sup­por­ting. Themes in her works are often touch, rest, care, aging, weight, and friends­hip. She works in many roles in the fields of per­for­man­ce, dan­ce and fine arts. Mustonen has a Master in Fine Arts (Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki) and a Bachelor of Arts (Laban Centre, London) in dan­ce and cho­re­o­grap­hy. She has also stu­died per­for­man­ce art and the­o­ry (Theatre Academy, Helsinki).
